This production was a juggernaut in every sense, with its colossal scale in logistics, design, special effects, infrastructure and engineering. It required an impressive twelve months just to load everything into the theatre.
The auditorium was transformed with fresh paint, seating configuration, new Hogwarts branded carpet and stained-glass windows. Not to mention the backstage, stage and substage amendments that occurred behind the scenes.

We were involved early on in the process, scanning and drawing the internal structure of the entire building with precision down to the millimetre.
These technical drawings were very important, as without them the necessary additions couldn't be installed to lift, lower and fly cast members, set pieces and props.
Modifying a hundred-year-old theatre to cater to a modern-day play is not an easy - or cheap - undertaking. Yet, it was pulled off with great success thanks to a national and international team of professionals who used their skills to deliver magic.

Once the curtain closed on Harry Potter and the Cursed Child five years later, the theatre had to be restored to its original condition. FORM were there again to help load out, transport and store the costumes, props, wigs and set. Keeping it secure until the time comes to release the magic again.
